Private Health Rebates at Upright Chiropractic
Did you know chiropractic services are covered by most insurers?
Upright Chiropractic will provide you with a payment invoice for each chiropractic service. You can use this invoice to claim the rebate from your private health provider, either through their mobile app or in person. Please note that the amount you can claim may vary depending on your health fund and plans. For specific details about your policy and benefits, please check with your private health provider.

Chiropractic Care with Medicare (Chronic Disease Management or EPC plan)
Patients may be eligible for up to five chiropractic sessions per calendar year under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, also known as a GP Care Plan through Medicare.
Please note:
• Payment is required at your appointment.
• A receipt will be provided so you can submit your claim to Medicare (CDM plan) for reimbursement.
• A GP referral for a CDM plan is required prior to your appointment.
Bulk Billing Chiropractic with Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA)
DVA patients are eligible for chiropractic sessions at no cost with a proper GP referral and a DVA card.
Chiropractic Care for Motor Vehicle Accident Claim (ICWA)
Have you recently been involved in a car accident as a driver, passenger, or pedestrian and are experiencing whiplash or other injuries? You may be eligible to claim chiropractic treatment fees through ICWA.
Please note:
• Payment is required at your appointment.
• A receipt and any supporting documentation will be provided so you can submit your claim to ICWA.
• A GP referral and an approved ICWA claim are required prior to your appointment.
Chiropractic Care with Workers Compensation Claim (WorkCover WA)
Have you experienced a work-related injury? You may be able to claim chiropractic treatment fees through WorkCover WA.
Please note:
• Payment is required at your appointment.
• A receipt and any supporting documentation will be provided so you can submit your claim to WorkCover.
• A GP referral and an approved WorkCover claim are required prior to your appointment.
